I’m Abdilahi Adam, a proud native of Somaliland with a deep passion for showcasing the beauty and culture of my homeland. After earning a degree in Business Administration from the University of Hargeisa, I gained experience across various industries. However, my desire to make a meaningful impact led me to co-found Horn Expeditions with Mohamed.

For the past six years, I’ve focused on promoting sustainable tourism in Somaliland, sharing its rich landscapes and cultural heritage with both local and international travelers. Through our company, we aim to highlight the region’s potential and create unforgettable experiences for all who visit.

Mohamed Yussuf

Co-Founder, Travel Expert

As a co-founder of the company, I bring over five years of passionate experience as a local guide—offering far more than just directions. I am a storyteller and cultural ambassador dedicated to sharing the authentic heart and soul of my homeland. Growing up in a large family of 19, I initially pursued Civil Engineering, but my deep love for tourism and cultural exchange inspired me to follow my true passion: guiding.

For me, guiding is about creating immersive, meaningful experiences that connect travelers with the rich history, traditions, and everyday life of the places we explore. I take pride in weaving personal stories, local folklore, and insightful knowledge into every journey, ensuring that each visitor leaves with a deeper understanding and appreciation of our unique culture. My mission is to make every tour not only informative but truly unforgettable.
